An influence of hydrogeological conditions on mining
Groundwater is of a few parameters that can be "managed" when mining mineral deposits. A competent approach to studying and solving the tasks of reducing the water cut of rocks at the exploration stage and during the development period can significantly reduce the operating and capital costs for the development of deposits. The solution of these issues becomes more urgent in the light of the development of the mines to deeper depth, the development of deposits in increasingly complex hydrogeological and geotechnical conditions.
Within the framework of the presentation, the topic of the influence of hydrogeological conditions on mining of mineral deposits, methods for studying hydrogeological conditions and groundwater monitoring systems and methods for predicting the hydrogeological conditions of deposits for the period of mining (numerical hydrogeological modeling) will be briefly discussed. An integrated hydrogeomechanical approach will be that is used nowadays to provide safe mining conditions.
