AGR Software
In 2000 graduated Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University majoring in automation and control systems. In 2000-2004 studied in the graduate school in the Baltic State Technical University "Voenmeh" majoring in system analysis, control system and data processing. In 2004 earned PhD by successfully defending the thesis “Improving control over braking and acceleration of the rail transport”.
In 1999-2005 Rostislav Bilik worked for HC “Leninets” developing embedded software for aircraft radars and rail transport. In 2004 he became the head of a software engineering laboratory.
In 2005-2010 Rostislav worked for Motorola, where in various positions (from an engineer to the acting architect of a big international project) was engaged in projects on telematics software engineering for Daimler Chrysler and Continental.
Since 2010 Rostislav has been leading the AGR development project (automation of geological exploration). In 2015 the project became an independent business run by AGR Software LLC, with Rostislav Bilik as Director General.
Preparation of raw geological data for a successful transition to the concept of "Digital Mine".
Construction engineering and mining sector are the most conservative and conventional industries in the context of automation. This impeding their development, on the other hand, holds great potential for rising efficiency. Today, mining industry has entered the active stage of digital transformation.
The «Digital Mine» concept is based on the Industry 4.0 and includes the following areas: BigData, IoT, AR/VR, autonomous robots, information integration, etc. In any case, the main focus is on data.
Raw geological data obtained during exploration is further used for ore body modeling, mine planning, plant feed and reserve estimation. That is the reason why it has to be pertinent, generated with no time lag and has to be presented in digital format suitable for network transmission and automated processing.
This is exactly what the AGR system provides. AGR enables the user to immediately create electronic well files, in which every single geological feature has 3D coordinate. The system automatically processes electronic well files and builds up a geological database for modeling purposes. Data can be automatically transferred to other systems in order to ensure continuous production process.
Summing up, the AGR system can be considered as one of the basic tools aimed at providing data for Digital Mine.
