On Thursday 4 October MINEX Russia Forum is organising the 2nd competition of mining technical challenges and solutions – MineTech Russia 2018. The competition will be held in Tolstoy Hall from 09.00 – 11.00. The entrance to the hall is free.
The competition will provide opportunities for evaluating advanced technologies and innovative solutions for drilling and blasting operations, monitoring the stability of quarry pits, rapid analysis during geological prospecting, information modeling for the construction of mining and smelting enterprises, and others.
The presentations will be evaluated by a jury senior technical directors and specialists from Polyus Gold, Uranium One Group, Nordgold, Polymetal and Krasnobrodsky Yuzhny. The jury will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners who will be announced on 18:15 – 18:30 at the closing session of the Forum on 4 October.
The program of the contest this year is held in two stages: MineTech University and MineTech Business.
The competition starts with the presentation of a group of students of the Kuzbass State Technical University named after Kuzbass. T.F. Gorbachev in Prokopyevsk.
MineTech Business stage includes presentations from Mineral Exploration Network (Finland), Hexagon Geosystems Rus (Russia), CSA Global (Great Britain), AAEngineering Group (Kazakhstan), Gold and Technologies (Russia), Merula PDP (Netherlands ) and OOO “Diamant” (Russia).
